Who: Annmarie
What: Join us for a celebration of Light, Transformation, and New Beginnings as we practice a Solstice Mala, in which Annmarie will guide you through 108 Sun Salutations!
MALA- A Sanskrit word meaning garland it refers to a string of seeds or beads worn around the neck or wrist. A mala usually has 108, 54, or 27 beads and is used for counting mantra repetitions. It is a tool to help lead the mind towards the Inner Self and can give us a physical link to our practice.
We have carved out this block of time to practice. The Solstice Mala can help us set new intentions, go deeper within the authentic self, fire up the agni (fire of yoga) to burn away attachments, and remove stagnant energy and blockages to our best self. All levels Welcome
